At Lariplast S.A. we celebrate 50 years of Innovation and Pioneering

This year Lariplast S.A. celebrates 50 years since its founder, Angelos Tserepas, gave birth to the production of disposable plastic cups for yoghurt. 

Lariplast S.A. , after 50 years of success and continuous investments, today has 2 industrial production plants in Greece and France and exports to 20 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and America. It has therefore evolved into a Dynamic, Internationalized and constantly growing industry.

Now a leader in the market of disposable plastic foodservice disposables in Greece and one of the largest production units in Europe, it aims to further strengthen its growth prospects, both in Greece and abroad.

Our dedication over the years has resulted in the creation of 3 productive innovations, one of which has been granted an Industrial Patent. To this day, we continue to develop new technologies and new designs to provide our customers with the best products.

True to our values from the very first moment we have operated with respect for the environment. We have invested in a production system that allows the creation of products that have ensured a weight reduction of up to 15% from those on the market without affecting the mechanical properties of the products. In this way we minimize our environmental footprint by reducing both the volume of waste, reduce CO2 emissions, the energy used during production as well as social and economic costs.

We operate on the basis of a circular economy in our production, in the management of the packaging of our raw materials, in the direct consumption of our products, in simple terms, we extend the life cycle of products while saving natural resources, recycling and recovering energy and materials. What others may consider "waste", we turn it into raw materials.

In the context of all of the above, Lariplast S.A. also promotes printing on plastic without the need to use additional plastic film, which means less material used, which means less energy spent on the production of our packaging ... and less waste.
