Lariplast, the craft that was not afraid to grow!

Implementing a €5 million domestic investment programme to further modernise its machinery, Lariplast, the country's largest producer of disposable tableware, is preparing intensively for its next big steps in the US, Belgium and France.

In a Greece of crisis, grumbling and deindustrialisation, most people would find it hard to believe that a Greek company based in Larissa has one of the most modern - in its sector - factories in the world in France, all of whose production is channelled to the French market. That it is making a major investment in the USA that exceeds all its European projects. The factory in Larissa, also with state-of-the-art machinery, has 10 production lines, 5 of which are the most productive in the world, and exports most of its production! Lariplast Greece's exports amounted to 65% in 2016, while this year they are expected to reach 75% of the business. The company exports plastic cups and cutlery, yoghurt cups, straws, stoppers etc. to dozens of countries in America, South Africa, Israel, Lebanon, Balkans and all over the European Union!
